Best with Vegetable Fried Rice with extra plum sauce on the side
Ingredients
- 2 racks (1 1/2 lbs each) baby back ribs
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 Chinese plum sauce or apricot preserves
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp minced garlic; optional
Directions
- Adjust oven rack to 6" from broiler. Preheat broiler to high
- Line large shallow baking pan with heavy duty aluminum foil. Cut racks into individual ribs and arrange ribs meat side down, close together but not touching
- In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir well
- Spoon 1/3 sauce over ribs. Broil for 10 minutes.
- Turn ribs meat side up. Spoon another 1/3 sauce over ribs
- Broil ribs for 6 minutes and spoon remaining sauce over ribs.
- Broil an additional 4 minutes or until ribs are crispy
